- Eating acts as a social connection and is something all people have in common. When you stop eating you feel isolated for having lost that connection.

- How we choice what we are going to eat is a phycological phenomenon. Not eating at all has showed me that I associate certain foods with certain activities or mindsets, and most of them aren't healthy connections!
- When you eat crap, you feel like crap both mentally and physically. When you cut crap out of your diet (or food in general) you mentally feel like you feel better...
- Stress eating will only make you more stressed...think about it
- Poop still happens (a lot for me) even if you aren't eating food.
- You aren't what you eat, because otherwise I'd be nothing...
- When your not eating food, you really learn when your body needs nutrients versus when you just mentally want food.
- Most foods aren't really good for your body. In fact for me, food was doing more harm than good, therefor why I've given up food.
- You can still live a full life without Food!
I had to realize that food wasn't helping my body heal and I've learned a lot in this past week not eating. So what is your food telling you about yourself and your life? As much as I've complained this past week about not being able to eat, is has taught me some important lessons about food that I will never forget and will apply to all aspects of my not so normal life!
